Pre-recording recital and premiere of a new work by David Lancaster.

At the Edge of the World tells the story of Emma Raughton, an anchoress who livin solitary isolation in All Saints Church in York during the early years of the 15th century; during her confinement she received several visitations from the Virgin Mary.

​

This performance, directed by Paul Gameson, will be preceded by a short introduction from Abi Curtis and David Lancaster. Tickets are free and there will be a retiring collection.
